What is encapsulation?
Encapsulation is a carpet and upholstery cleaning process using new cleaning products which wraps up or encapsulates the soil and detergent residue allowing for it to be easily removed by dry vacuuming.

What is Best 1 ENCAP dry cleaning?
ENCAP = Encapsulation. During the Best 1 ENCAP carpet and upholstery cleaning process, rotary scrubbers are used to very effectively permeate the soiled surface with a special cleaning solution which totally wraps up (encapsulates) the soil and the detergent residue; which is then removed by vacuuming.
The steps in the ENCAP cleaning process.
- Dry vacuum the carpet or upholstery; as 85% of soil in the average carpet is dry soil and is removed with this initial vacuum.
- Treat any stubborn stains with spotters.
- Apply the cleaning solution to the carpet or upholstery to remove most common stains.
- Run the rotary scrubber over the carpet or upholstery until all stains are removed.
- Dry vacuum the carpet or upholstery to remove the encapsulated soil.
- Rake the carpets or brush the upholstery, to give a good appearance and to stand the fibres upright.
